Fashion-Smashon

I wanna start my clothing line in 2010.....as in working on it. Making actual pieces and stuff. I've been sketching for years!....like since I was 13, I think, and I've always would make doll clothes when I was younger. So it's only natural that at this stage of my life I should be looking to making it a reality, right?

Ive been looking through old vogue magazines and found some Marc Jacobs pieces that I loved and I thought id look em up online and share with you. So here it is:

These were some of his worst pieces, as some magazines claimed.......LIKE SHUT UP!.....THESE ARE ALL SILHOUETTES OF TODAY! of course we can identify with the plaid and the baby doll and the kinda pumpkin thing......these were lines from 1999 and 2000....so its frustrating that he foresaw these fashion types and put it out there and he got blasted for it. But yet, fast forward to 2009 and here comes the same styles and silhouettes. That's a real bitch. the worst part about it though that because he got slammed for his grungy apparel he turned to a softer more sleek style.......BLAH! And now he's more classy in his pieces and lets face it not as outlandish as he used to be. I still love him and I wanna keep on track with him so I'm going to put up a link to his website and a few pictures from his 2010 collection. and just FYI, his website is amazing! it has active catwalks of all his collections, and u kno what, just go look....http://www.marcjacobs.com/.

Marc Jacobs is a really interpretative designer. He has been celebrated and questioned and loved. I just hope I can have the same or more of an impact on the fashion world as he has.

Here's some of his Winter 2009/2010 line:
